Volcan Compañía Miner aprooved Metaproject Engineering S.A.C., a subsidiary of Metaproject Group in Peruin its Contractor Homologation process, achieving a total score of 98% in the comprehensive evaluation.
The process, conducted by Eagle Consulting SAC between October 16 and 28, 2025, aimed to validate the performance of Metaproject's Management System against the standards required by Volcan. This procedure seeks to ensure that contractors meet high levels of safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and operational performance.
The evaluation reviewed key areas such as occupational health and safety, environment, legal management, human resources, quality, logistics, maintenance, and administration. The audit included an on-site visit on October 23 to Metaproject Peru's offices, located in Miraflores, Lima, coordinated by the Business Development team.
This achievement was made possible by solid teamwork involving collaboration from different areas, whose experience in integrated management systems and international certifications was fundamental to meeting the high standards required by the auditors SGS and Eagle Consulting.
Metaproject's commitment to operational excellence
The process involved a joint and coordinated effort, especially considering the tight deadlines and the need to adapt Metaproject's corporate procedures, based on Chilean regulations, to Peruvian legal requirements and frameworks. The technical homologation report classifies Metaproject Engineering SAC under Service Type C, corresponding to temporary services that directly impact mining production. The 98% overall evaluation, with 100% scores in strategic management, regulatory compliance, administration, human resources, and transportation, reaffirms the operational excellence and maturity of the organization's internal processes.
While this isn't the first homologation process of Metaproject, having already received prior approvals in Antamina and Chinalco. This new milestone is of great importance as it consolidates the company's presence in the Peruvian mining market and strengthens its position as a reliable partner in multidisciplinary engineering and technical consulting..
The Certificate of Homologation PE-78074-25, valid until October 2027 with annual review in 2026, reflects the company's commitment to safety, quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
