Metaproject firma Convenio DEKRA

This Monday, November 24, at the Casa Matriz headquarters, Metaproject Group achieved a strategic milestone for its organizational development: the signing of the DEKRA Project Agreement, an initiative promoted jointly with the “Chilean Safety Association (ACHS)” to strengthen the preventive culture and raise safety standards across all our operations.

The event brought together representatives from the mutual insurance organization along with our CEO, Manuel Viera;Chairwoman of the Board, Isabel Peñailillo; and the Vice Presidents Kathleen Viera (Organizational Excellence) and Dominique Viera (Operations), along with the various department heads that make up the company, who reaffirmed the institutional commitment to advancing toward a culture of preventive excellence.

A project that marks a new beginning

The DEKRA Project will make it possible to carry out a in-depth assessment of our organizational culture, with the purpose of identifying strengths, opportunities for improvement, and designing a roadmap that consolidates safety as a core value of the company’s work.

The mutual insurance organization explained that this methodology, unique in Chile, emerges from a renewed perspective aimed at providing closer, more technical, and transformative support. For Metaproject, this alliance represents a step that is consistent with our history and with key milestones such as the more than 5 million work hours without lost-time incidents, an achievement that reflects the commitment of our teams throughout Chile and Latin America.

What is DEKRA and why is it key for Metaproject?

Juan Esteban Romero, Encargado del proceso DEKRA, presentó los componentes del diagnóstico DEKRA, el cual busca medir cómo las personas perciben la organización, sus equipos de trabajo y, especialmente, la seguridad.

The process includes:

  • Quantitative survey administered to the teams.
  • Qualitative interviews and focus groups, with the participation of 15% of the workforce.
  • Garanty of anonymity, to promote trust and the honest expression of experiences.
  • Comparison with national and international standards, providing a clear view of the level of safety maturity.

The results of this analysis will be presented to senior management and will make it possible to build concrete action plans, based on real data and perceptions, to define a clear path toward continuous improvement.

33 years of partnership with ACHS

As part of the launch of the DEKRA Project, ACHS presented a special recognition for 33 years of collaboration with Metaproject.

This distinction reflects a relationship based on trust, joint work, and a shared vision of promoting safe, sustainable work environments aligned with the best industry practices.

A milestone that shapes our future

The signing of the agreement, symbolically described as a ‘new beginning,’ officially marks the start of a preventive transformation cycle at Metaproject. This alliance will allow us to update our cultural assessment, strengthen strategic decision-making, and continue advancing toward the operational excellence that defines us.

The DEKRA Project is not just a diagnostic methodology, but an opportunity to listen, improve, and build together a safer environment for everyone.
