During “The Mining Show 2025”, held between November 17 and 18 in Dubai, Manuel Viera Flores, President of the Chilean Mining Chamber and CEO of Metaproject, had a significant role representing the Chilean mining sector before international authorities and leaders, strengthening the global positioning of the country’s mining industry and highlighting Chile’s commitment to innovation, cooperation, and the sustainable development of the sector.

- The strengthening of interest in encouraging the arrival of international investors to our country.

Manuel Viera was the only representative from Latin America to present during the event’s official program, a space that brought together experts, authorities, and companies from various countries.
In his presentation, named “Mining ore valuation by real options under risk and uncertainty”, explained in depth how the use of real options in the valuation of mineral resources allows for improved decision-making in scenarios of risk and uncertainty, promoting a more strategic, technological, efficient, and sustainable mining industry capable of responding to the current global challenges of the sector.
