As a member company of the Chilean Mining Chamber, Metaproject actively participated in the 2025 Annual Dinner, held on December 10 at Club 50. The meeting brought together authorities, executives and representatives of the mining ecosystem, allowing for dialogue about the technical, regulatory and strategic challenges that will mark the future of the industry.
We especially value the words of the president of the Chamber, Manuel Viera, who highlighted the urgency of strengthening safer, more innovative and sustainable mining. These pillars fully coincide with our vision and with the work we promote in engineering, operations and projects at the national level.
The intervention of the Minister of Mining, Aurora Williams, reaffirmed the importance of collaboration between the Government, companies and the territories, a vision that we fully share. Its call to strengthen sustainability, traceability and responsible development is consistent with the way in which Metaproject promotes its projects in Chile and Latin America.
Astromining and Agreement with the Municipality of Sierra Gorda
One of the most relevant milestones of the night was the presentation by Colonel (A) Héctor Contreras Cofré, Director of the National Space Centerl (CDA/DA), who presented the technological advances that today connect mining with space science, especially in satellite monitoring, remote observation and autonomous systems. For Metaproject, this convergence reinforces the strategic value of applied innovation and the need to continue advancing in high-standard solutions.

We also highlight the symbolic signing of the agreement between the mayor
of Sierra Gorda Adiana Rivera and the President of the Mining Chamber of Chile, Manuel Viera of Chile, which reflects a significant step for local development and the strengthening of regional suppliers. The activity was highlighted by South African ambassador George Monyemangene and political advisor Mutlane Makena, who were present at the ceremony.
Award
The Mining Chamber Dinner concluded with the traditional awards in the categories of Safety, Innovation and the Andrzej Zablocki Award, closing with a networking space that reinforced the role of the union as a strategic articulator of the sector.
