    \u00a0<\/strong>Metaproject, an engineering and innovation company that has been a leader in the industry for 30 years, contributed to the Mining Engineering Student Center (CAIM) of the Mining Department at the University of Santiago, providing logistical and financial support for the \u201c2022 Mining Tour.\u201d<\/p>\n

    As a result of this generous financial contribution, the Organizing Committee of the 2022 Professional Mining Tour recognized Metaproject for its commitment and dedication to training new mining engineers in the country. The event brought together the media, companies in the sector, and key figures who helped organize the tour, which included 45 outstanding students from the program, to learn about medium and large-scale mining on a trip to northern Chile.<\/p>\n

    Fabiola Villablanca<\/strong>Fabiola Villablanca, president of the Mining Engineering Student Center (CAIM) of the Mining Department at the University of Santiago, presided over the ceremony to thank the companies in the industry that selflessly contributed to the \u201cMining Tour 2022,\u201d a trip that helped incorporate new technologies used in the mines into the students' profile. \u201cThis contribution (from Metaproject) helped us with the tasks we had after the tour, for example, with the organization and closing. This is where this entire aid project, which was generated by all the collaborators, culminates,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

    Ana Mu\u00f1oz, vice president of the Mining Engineering Student Center (CAIM) of the Mining Department at the University of Santiago, emphasized that Metaproject's financial support \u201cis used specifically for things related to organizing the tour, such as food, which is obviously essential,\u201d adding that Metaproject's collaboration will help future generations build relationships with companies in the mining sector because \u201cas students, we need a bridge to the industry, and Dominique in particular has been that bridge. She has taught us everything from the operational to the most bureaucratic aspects,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

    Dominique Viera, vice president of operations at Metaproject, highlighted the importance of this type of initiative, \u201cFor Metaproject, more than recognition, it is the joy of being able to contribute to future generations who will work in mining, so that they leave with better knowledge, closer to the industry, and can understand the problems on the ground and seek the solutions we need,\u201d she said at the event organized in the Hall of Honor at the University of Santiago.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
