Metaproject Group Recognized for Leadership in Gender Equality and Work-Life Balance at APRIMIN Annual Dinner

On December 14th, Metaproject Group received a significant recognition during the Annual Dinner of the Association of Industrial Suppliers for Mining (APRIMIN). The company was highlighted as one of the leading organizations in promoting Gender Equality and Work-Life Balance within the mining and petrochemical industries.

This award was presented to our HSECQ Manager, Lorena Penna, in an emotional ceremony attended by key governmental figures, including the Minister of Mining, Aurora Williams, and the Minister of Economy, Nicolás Grau. During the event, both authorities emphasized the importance of fostering a more inclusive and sustainable industry where equality and employee well-being are fundamental pillars.

A Commitment that Defines Our Leadership

For Metaproject Group, this recognition is not just a milestone but also a testament to our ongoing efforts to solidify our position as leaders in inclusive management and social responsibility. Our commitment to gender equality has been reflected in several concrete actions, including the adoption of the Chilean Standard NCH3262, which promotes the balance between work, family, and personal life. Metaproject is proud to be one of the first companies in the sector to be certified under this standard.

Recognition at the National and International Levels

The event brought together representatives from key companies and organizations in the industry, including ENAP, CODELCO, AngloAmerican Los Bronces, Minera Chinalco Perú, Compañía Minera Poderosa, Compañía Minera Antapaccay, and Teck Resources Limited, alongside the Ministry of Mining. Like Metaproject, these institutions have shown their commitment to creating a more equitable and responsible environment.

This recognition not only highlights Metaproject’s role as a pioneer in implementing inclusive policies but also positions the company as a model for other organizations in the mining and petrochemical sectors in Chile and abroad.
